Many people often ask me this question:

"Why can't I write well even after reading so many books?"

The reason lies in the fact that there is a gap between reading and writing.

A person with strong writing skills is most likely someone who has read extensively and has a large reading volume.

However, someone with a large reading volume is not necessarily a good writer.

This is because reading and writing are two completely different systems.

On the one hand, reading focuses on absorbing and understanding others' viewpoints and expressions.
On the other hand, writing requires processing and organizing the information you've absorbed—it's a creative process.

Moreover, writing demands not only a strong command of language but also mastery over emotions, logic, and structure.

Take my personal experience as an example. I loved reading since I was a child. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I was always among the top readers in my age group.

So, when I decided to start a public account, I naturally thought: "I've read so many books and written so many essays; writing should come naturally."

The result? I couldn’t write at all.
