Interacting with large language models is becoming a core productivity skill. It's not simply a question and answer, but rather an entirely new collaborative paradigm that combines psychology, communication artistry, and strategic thinking.

I learned seven core interaction techniques from an interview with Mike Krieger, CPO of Anthropic:

Technique 1: Mindset Shift—From "Command Executor" to "Thinking Partner"

This is the most fundamental change. Don't view large language models merely as tools waiting for instructions, but rather as "virtual collaborators" capable of engaging in equal dialogue and sparking your thinking.

In interviews, Mike Krieger mentioned that he already uses Claude as his preferred product strategy partner. He doesn't directly ask "What should I do?" but instead shares his preliminary strategy and then has Claude challenge and examine it.

How to do this? When starting a complex conversation, don't rush to ask questions. First, "feed" it your complete thoughts, background information, and even rough drafts, then pose open-ended questions, such as:
