Just over a month has passed, and Kling, building on the motion quality-focused 2.0 Master Edition, has leveled up again with the launch of the 2.1 series models.
This series includes Kling 2.1 and Kling 2.1 Master Edition, where the Kling 2.1 Master Edition features more realistic dynamics, larger motion amplitudes, more lifelike physical effects, and enhanced prompt understanding, targeting professional scenarios like film production and commercial advertising.
Pricing remains unchanged compared to Kling 2.0 Master Edition (generating a 5-second 1080p video costs 100 Inspiration Points, priced at $1.5 at the standard rate), but the results are even better.
Without further ado, let’s dive into a firsthand review. To pursue the ultimate effect, I focused the review on the image-to-video function of Kling 2.1 Master Edition, with an input image resolution of 2K.
Since Kling 2.1 Master Edition emphasizes motion performance and semantic response, most of my tests centered on motion scenarios, with prompts designed to include as many elements as possible, such as actions and subjects.
Furthermore, current commercial video generation models prioritize visual expressiveness, focusing more on flexible or fluid interactions rather than rigid ones. For this reason, we selected specific cases centered on human-centric interactions, human-fluid interactions, and human-human interactions, such as surfing, running, swimming, and dancing (as long as it’s not a hard collision like fist-to-fist, human-human interactions can also be considered flexible). Including open tests with scenarios like Muay Thai, extreme sports, and baseball, I practically hosted a sports festival with Kling 2.1 Master Edition.
