My 10-Month Journey to Unlocking 10x Productivity with AI!
Discover how to turn AI into your super assistant! Learn proven strategies to integrate AI seamlessly into your workflow for 10x writing efficiency.
How can we make AI truly effective, rather than turning it into a decorative "artificial stupidity"? How can it become our powerful super assistant?
After 10 months of experience with AI-assisted writing, I’ve discovered the best approach.
Here’s my process logic to share with you all!
Understand the Writing Workflow First
The first step is to clearly understand the entire writing process.
It’s like building a house—you need to know that you start with the foundation, then build the walls, and finally install the windows. Each step needs to be clear.
Many people fail to get results with AI because they haven’t figured out the process themselves. If you don’t know where to start, AI can’t help you either.
The same goes for writing. From topic selection, outlining, drafting content, to polishing, each step needs to be well understood.
This becomes your "map." By knowing the goal of each stage, you can identify where AI can guide you and where it can take over.
Identify Tasks AI Can Handle
Review your workflow and determine which parts AI can assist with or completely take over.
For instance, AI can offer fresh perspectives and ideas when searching for writing inspiration. When I hit a wall drafting a first draft, AI often helps me brainstorm.
But remember, AI is just a tool—you need to have your own ideas.
You are the creator, and your writing comes from your own thoughts and creativity. Without your blueprint, AI may produce random, incoherent results.
However, if you have a clear vision, AI’s input can enhance your work.
AI can also handle tedious tasks like fixing typos or reorganizing structure. This allows you to focus on the final polish and dedicate more energy to the content itself.
Integrate AI to Optimize Your Workflow
I continually test and refine my process to seamlessly integrate AI’s capabilities with my workflow.
Training AI is like taming a wild animal—it may not listen at first (because it doesn’t understand you yet), but with proper guidance, it adapts and becomes your reliable assistant.
You’re the one in control, with AI as your helper. Neither rely on it completely nor distrust it entirely.
AI is both a tool and an assistant, helping you save effort and speed up the process without letting it take over completely.
This way, AI becomes your "second brain," always on standby and tirelessly ready to assist.
For example, when my writing feels monotonous, I ask AI for suggestions to improve the tone. However, I only adopt ideas that enhance the article.
AI is like a helpful voice reminding you, "Add some detail here," or "Try a different phrasing there."
In the end, your work becomes richer, but the style remains uniquely yours.
This is the right way to use AI.
